Lechia Gdansk has not won any of their last four matches. The team from Gdańsk lost to Wisła Płock, drew with Piast Gliwice, lost to Raków and lost 1:3 to Radomiak Radom. Lechia is playing poorly and if they lose their next match against Widzew, they will find themselves in the relegation zone. Some Lechia fans are still hoping that the club can recover the five points that were deducted before the start of the current season. On Twitter, a post appeared from football agent Maciej Gałat, who wrote: 'I already have info that they will get their 5 points...'. The discussion has flared up again. The problem is that, as journalist Piotr Potępa from igol.pl found out, there is currently no case before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne. 'I asked about the -5 points for Lechia. From what I was able to find out, it turns out that: the case is not being heard in Lausanne. Yesterday's match caused UEFA to lose interest, because Lechia has probably dropped out of the fight for European cups. The -5 points penalty will be maintained until the end of the season' - said Piotr Potępa. Does this mean that the hopes of Lechia's fans from Gdańsk for recovering points have died completely? Not necessarily. The team from Gdańsk announced in January that they had appealed the decision of the Polish Football Association to deduct points to the Supreme Court. However, it seems unlikely that the Supreme Court will hear the case so quickly. The season is ending this month, after all. And if the verdict on Lechia were to be passed, for example, in the middle of the next season and were favorable to the club, it would lead to enormous organizational chaos - especially if it meant a change in the relegation or cup qualification. Lechia would probably have the right to apply for significant compensation. Lechia Gdansk still has a chance to improve their situation, but they must win their next match against Widzew. Andrzejkiewicz, the coach of Lechia, must find a way for his team to start winning matches. Lechia Gdansk can no longer afford to make any mistakes, or they will be relegated to a lower league.
