Lechia Gdansk is sticking to its transfer plans ahead of the season. The club is preparing for its second friendly match during its training camp in Turkey. On Saturday, January 17th at 13:15 Polish time at the Megasaray Football Center, their opponent will be Lokomotiw Sofia, currently 8th in the Bulgarian efbet Liga. Although the first team has already said goodbye to its fourth player, the club is not changing its plans outlined for this transfer window. The priority is to retain all key players. As we hear, only a cosmic amount could introduce corrections to this strategy. Lechia Gdansk has lost a player, Mohamed Awad Alla, who left for Al-Ain FC. However, this does not change the basic strategy adopted for the winter transfer window. It assumes the retention of all key players, rather than acquiring new ones at all costs. The vast majority of players from the first 11 are at an age where they can only get better, and as they develop, the entire team should present itself even better. Coach John Carver is satisfied with the current squad and hopes that they will be able to retain all the important players. Lechia Gdansk is preparing for friendlies against Żeleznicar Pancevo, Lokomotiw Sofia, FC Hradec Kralove, and FK Mladost Lucani. In the first friendly match, Camilo Mena and Aleksandar Cirković started on the wings. They can also be played by Kacper Sezonienko and Bogdana Wiunnyka, and Tomasz Wójtowicz started the season in this role.
