Lechia Gdansk has been relegated from Ekstraklasa after a series of defeats. The club lost six of its last seven matches, including 2:3 in the last round to relegated Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza. Lechia Gdansk had problems with defense, but the club's management did not bring in any defenders during the winter transfer window. Lechia Gdansk's owner Paolo Urfer met with the players and told them not to worry, because they would recover the points. However, Lechia Gdansk was not able to recover the points and was relegated from Ekstraklasa. And Lechia Gdansk now has to think about returning to Ekstraklasa.
