Wójtowicz, who has been playing in a new midfield role for several matches, emphasizes that he feels better in this position with each game.
Wójtowicz’s New Role
The coach decided to experiment by moving Wójtowicz from a wide position to midfield. "It’s a completely different set of responsibilities, different physical demands – everything is new, but with every match I feel more comfortable in this position," he says. The change proved beneficial, and the team leveraged the extra player after Pogoń’s red card, which did not negatively affect their tactics.
New Players and Growing Confidence
Wójtowicz notes that new players have added quality, boosting the confidence of the entire squad. "They’re not yet in their best form, but they’ve already shown their worth. I think we’ll improve with every game," he adds. Despite lacking a designated number nine, the coach uses rotation, and the team has proven it can function without a traditional striker.
Preparing for Away Matches
After the win, Lechia has three upcoming away matches. Wójtowicz believes the result will give them a boost and make it easier to approach the next games. "I don’t check the table, I don’t want to worry – we need to enjoy the victory and use that energy," he says.
Team Chemistry
Wójtowicz observes that the team chemistry is improving, especially as Artur Shakh has shown better form than in the previous match. "I’m convinced he will continue to improve with every game," he adds. While he does not plan to try out as a goalkeeper, he is open to further positional experiments.

The team will continue the series of three away matches, and Wójtowicz plans further positional experiments to maximize the squad’s potential.
