New players in majority
In the match against Pogoń Siedlce (1:0), new players formed the majority of the starting XI. Six of them played in the first team, while the seventh sat on the bench. 21-year-old Ukrainian forward Artur Szach scored the winning goal. Coach Władysław Łupaszko is working on three transfers, convincing new players to adapt to his playing style.
Artur Szach: No ceiling
Szach, who joined Lechia from Karpaty Lviv, scored his first goal of the season. The coach emphasized that the player can change the course of matches, but he doesn't know where the limits of his potential lie. Szach has played 76 matches in senior football, including 36 under Łupaszko's guidance. He will play on loan until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Transfer changes
Six new players were in the starting XI: Samuel Kopasek (defender), Daniło Beskorowajny (defender), Daniło Małow (defender), Kevin Dodaj (midfielder), Jakub Adkonis (forward), and Artur Szach (forward). None of the four defenders played in the previous season's first team. Wojciech Madej was promoted from the junior squad. Albanian Dodaj recorded an assist, while restrictions on non-EU and Ukrainian players pose a challenge.
