Lechia Gdansk's Artur Szach has been named the I Liga Player of the Month for September. The award recognises his outstanding run of form, during which he scored four goals and provided three assists across three matches.
His hat-trick in the spectacular 7-1 victory over Stal Mielec on 19 September was the defining moment. Szach opened the scoring in the 12th minute and added two more after the break, also assisting goals for Szymon Kopasek and Hristo Ivanov. His performances have been a key driver for Lechia, who have won four of their last five league games.

Lechia's strong run, including a recent 3-1 win over Ruch Chorzów, has lifted the team to 8th place in the table with 13 points. The team now faces a key away fixture against 7th-placed Stal Rzeszów on 12 October.
