Lechia Gdansk, after being relegated from the Ekstraklasa to the Betclic 1st League, has gained a new perspective for the future. The club's owner, Paolo Urfer, issued a strong statement emphasizing his commitment to Lechia's development. The Gdansk club, which finished the previous season in third-to-last place, now faces new challenges. Urfer highlighted that Lechia Gdansk S.A. has a transparent ownership structure, with Football Culture Poland sp. z o.o. based in Dubai as the majority shareholder. The owner stressed that his support for the club has never been temporary, and the future of Lechia requires patience and consistent work. In his statement, Urfer also addressed collaboration with other clubs, including Valmiera, aimed at the club's sports development. Currently, Lechia Gdansk is awaiting a decision from the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne regarding point deductions, which is crucial for the club's further sporting situation. Regardless of the outcome, Urfer assures that Lechia will continue its organizational and financial development, keeping in mind its fans and the entire white-and-green community.
