Bogdan Wiunnyk, 24-year-old striker for Lechia Gdańsk, has decided to transfer to Legia Warsaw. The player rejected a move to Korona Kielce, despite both clubs agreeing on a transfer fee of 700k euros plus bonuses. Wiunnyk emphasized his desire to play under coach Marek Papszun, who sees potential in him. – I rejected Korona. I respect them, but I want Legia, where Papszun sees me – said Wiunnyk. Legia Warsaw doesn't seem able to match Kielce's offer, keeping the transfer race open. Wiunnyk, who played as a striker for Lechia in the 2025/26 season, scored 18 goals in 34 matches.
