Transparent Player Revolution

Lechia Gdańsk is going through a period of crisis due to the club's financial difficulties. In recent months, it has lost ten players already.

The most surprising development concerns Kacper Sezonienko, who will likely join Hellas Werona in Italy very soon. According to WP Sportowe Fakty, both clubs are close to finalizing an agreement. If everything goes as planned, Sezonienko is expected to travel to Italy on Wednesday for medical checks and should sign with the new club.

Transfer Price and Finances

The total price of the transaction may increase because of bonuses. In case of any need, unblocking re-registering new players becomes crucial for Lechia in order to pay off its debts before the deadline. Clearing up these sums will also help lift a transfer ban that is preventing the club from registering new players for games.

Kacper has been with Lechia since 2018 and played regularly for the team during last season’s Ekstraklasa, participating in 31 matches while scoring five goals and making four assists.

Hellas Werona finished last season in Italy's top division ranked 13th, resulting in its relegation to Serie B. The club is set to play their first match of the new season against Virtis Entelle on Saturday, August 16 for the Italian Cup.
